Integrated design approach

Thanks to improvement in the nature of materials and production techniques, the number of specialised products has drastically increased.
Besides, new design aspects have emerged that need to be addressed, such as shifts in world economies and markets, increasing competitive pressure on quality, time, and costs, energy efficiency, reuse, recycling, etc.

During the earliest design phase the greatest potential exists to influence the building properties in all life cycle phases for cost-effective and high performance buildings. Such concept promote collaborative engineering in the building design.
